Topic: Perspectives on US-Iran Lack of Relations: What Does America Want from Iran?
This presentation examines the relationship between the US government and the Islamic Republic of Iran and attempts to ascertain what the US want from Iran and which of a number of issues raised by Washington are real and which are not. What, if any, are the hidden agenda and what factors are involved in the development of US policies toward Iran.
Maziar Behrooz is the author of “Rebels with a Cause: The Failure of the Left in Iran” and numerous articles in Persian and English about Iranian politics. He has appeared as a guest on radio programs including the Persian broadcasting of BBC and Radio SBS (Australia-Persian).
